Looks like he might be done, he couldn't even hit Kevin Gregg right now. His bat is super slow. Aoki was a better fit for the Reds from the start. They didn't need another power/high strikeout hitter, they needed OBP and a guy that could give good at bats. I always felt Ichiro would've been a good signing as well.

At least bat him 3rd and let Frazier drive him in but right now it is ineffective to have a guy hitting strictly singles in the 4 hole while the 5-6 guys are struggling big time.

April 23, 201511 yr Frazier is a better hitter with a better OBP than Phillips. I would rather have him hitting third than Phillips hitting third. Phillips only value as a hitter now is his ability to hit with runners in scoring position. This season Phillips is hitting 429 with runners in scoring position second only to Votto on the team
