August 16, 201511 yr Not a football guru by any stretch, but with the Chip Kelly offense does Tebow have to be a 60% passer to have great success?
August 16, 201511 yr Not a football guru by any stretch, but with the Chip Kelly offense does Tebow have to be a 60% passer to have great success? I would think so. 60% is pretty much the benchmark for a successful NFL QB.
August 16, 201511 yr I think Tebow and Michael Sams should go play in Europe together. Tebow looked pretty solid today.
August 17, 201511 yr 6-12 for 69 yards, no TD's no picks. 4 rushes for 15 yards, and a TD. Also took two really bad sacks, holding on the football too long. Did have a couple moments where he looked like a first round pick, but for the most part he was average. Matt Barkley outplayed him (although they didn't score with Barkley) and looks more like an NFL QB. He's going to have a hard time making this team unless he shows a lot more.
August 17, 201511 yr Barkley had 0 TDs and 1 INT. He ran 1 time for 2 yards. I'm trying to figure out how he looked so much better?
August 17, 201511 yr Barkley had 0 TDs and 1 INT. He ran 1 time for 2 yards. I'm trying to figure out how he looked so much better? Barkley had Better yards per completion, better control of the offense, spread the ball around more, made quicker reads, took no sacks....he just looked like he was in more control. The pick was on a tipped ball. Tebows's performance was uneven, at best.
August 17, 201511 yr He still holds on way too long. They won't keep 4 QBs. Yep. He's going to have to be a lot better than he was to unseat Barkley as the #3 . The next game against the Ravens could be Tebows last chance, as the third preseason game is usually where the starters and key backups get most of the playing time.
