April 12, 201511 yr The BBQ chips have to be the best ever and also the unhealthiest ever Is there such a thing as healthy potato chips??
April 12, 201511 yr Is there such a thing as healthy potato chips?? Yeah, the Olestra ones that you crap out 10 minutes after eating them.
April 12, 201511 yr BBQ is the only thing I ever liked by Grippo's and it is one of my favorite junk food snacks.
April 12, 201511 yr Can't stand their normal chips. Bbq by far my favorite. And it is hit or miss on seasoning, most of the time it is fine but sometimes it is very light. And the last 2 bags I bought were the hottest I have ever had in a grippo.
April 12, 201511 yr I've never considered Grippos BBQ chips "hot" or "spicy". They're just too sweet for me, just too much sugar sprinkled on with the BBQ coating. In prefer Mike-sells Bold Bahama BBQ.

April 16, 201511 yr Mingua Brothers Beef Jerky actually makes some of its Jerky with the Grippos seasoning and its pretty widely available in most of Central Kentucky! http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5125/5301410675_1507610d8b_z.jpg
April 16, 201511 yr Really I would love to have some of that! Kroger sells it. Squeeze some lime on my popcorn and sprinkle the BBQ spice. Nice!!!
April 16, 201511 yr Never heard of these Then there is an incompleteness in your life. :angrybird3: Everyone should get to enjoy the BBQ chips.
April 16, 201511 yr Grippo's BBQ chips and pretzels are as good as it gets. Someone mentioned Mingua Brother's jerky....I've been going through about 2 bags of their "hot" a week for the past month. Safe to say I'm addicted.
April 16, 201511 yr I've never considered Grippos BBQ chips "hot" or "spicy". They're just too sweet for me, just too much sugar sprinkled on with the BBQ coating. In prefer Mike-sells Bold Bahama BBQ. I've never been able to stomach Mike-sells chips...with me they rate about as nasty as plain Grippo's. You'd think that a chip is a chip is a chip is a chip, but I've far too often made the mistake of grabbing a cheap off-brand from places like Big Lots and end up feeling like crap within minutes from ingesting nasty oil. Aside from Grippo's BBQ and Husman's plain being my favorite, I have to admit the whole "Once you pop you can't stop" thing with Original or Low Sodium Pringles is very true for me. I get into big trouble if I fall to the temptation of Pringles being on sale. Not wild about the flavored versions of Pringles as they tend be either taste fake, or become overbearing after I munch too many. As I had said before I also get into trouble with heartburn with Grippo's BBQ if I don't ease up after I start. I used to be a Ruffles junkie, but somewhere along the way I got burnt out on them.
April 17, 201511 yr Author Mingua Brothers Beef Jerky actually makes some of its Jerky with the Grippos seasoning and its pretty widely available in most of Central Kentucky! http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5125/5301410675_1507610d8b_z.jpg ...it's not Grippo's anymore. Grippo's stopped selling them the seasoning, so they have their own BBQ seasoning recipe now. You can tell by the different packaging on Mingua's Homepage now. As was said in the original post...strange that Grippo's seems to be fighting against their business growing. I buy Grippo's seasoning by the bottle and use it to make my own beef jerky nowadays.
