Some of the tweets I saw the profile pics were football and baseball players in game action. Come on Birds the blue ribbon school shows you are smarter than that. Being a NewCath grad I grew up hating HHS and loved playing vs them. With all the dislike always had respect for their accomplishments but I am definitely losing some respect.

I admit that I do no know know much about Twitter. I do know a enough about NCC and Highlands that I would not not lose respect for either school over this. Every school has garbage. This garbage is particularly smelly. It should not erase the excellence others have established.

Don't put words in my mouth Clyde and if you go back to the post in question I said "consider the possibility" and "may." I want all the uninformed reading this to know the Highlands baseball team is a pretty big deal this year so I added that for context.

 

Reading between the lines since you are making me do all the work, and everyone listen up here, the working theory of many from Highlands is that Tricia Macke (Fox19 Anchor) is no friend of Highlands High School and she using this "opportunity" for payback. I don't know if it is true or not but that bandwagon is crowded.

She is in a position to leverage the school system for more information. What will be interesting to see is if she is just going to do the one report, or she is really going to dig into it now. In other words, I think her efforts moving forward could give us more insight about her motivations. If she drops it now, I think it is pretty telling.
