Michigan State 76 Louisville 70 OT

Yes he was. I'm glad to see him finish strong. He's always seemed like a great young man.

He certainly played well today................after being the whipping boy for most of his time at UL..........kudos to Wayne

Absolutely not. Rozier is UL's #1 offensive threat. The Cards need him to shoot the ball to win. I didn't see him taking bad shots. He just couldn't get it to go in the hoop today.

Ok, thanks, as I said, I don't follow the cards, but I felt his decision making on some of his shots was bad, especially at the end. The last 3 in particular.

Great post season run Cards! Can’t believe we were one missed free throw away from the Final Four. Agggh!

I will miss Montrezl so much… it would be so cool if he decides to come back for his senior season. LOL

Oh well, time to slug through major league baseball until College Football begins.

Go Cards!

Terry took two horrendous shots late in the game.

Ill-advised hero ball from Rozier down the stretch. All the things that were great in the first half didn't come around in the second.

Fun run to end the season after if felt like all was lost in mid-February.

UL was just too offensively challenged this year. No scoring at center and bad FG shooting. This was one of Pitino's best coaching jobs. MSU deserved to win yet UL was right there at the end of regulation. Both teams played hard. MSU played a litttle better and a little smarter.

Izzo didn't say a word about UL alert the media!!!!!

It's only noticed if you coach basketball for University of Kentucky. And if you do mention the opposing team as a UK coach, there's a minimum number of times it must occur for the media talking heads.

Fine run for the basketball Cardinals with all the issues this year. Now time to root on the baseball Cardinals.

(I have kids that graduated from UofL and UK, I root for both.)

Blackshear played really well IMO, and had a great tourney. I never root for Louisville, but I'm glad he finished his career playing his best basketball. Harrell continues to be a front-runner. Where did he go in the 2nd half? He should not be a lottery pick. Late first-rounder at best. I just don't see what he could do at the next level. Won't be able to guard a good four, and surely cannot even begin to think he could play the three.

Rozier played well. Maybe he forced some shots, but without him Louisville is in the NIT this year. He's a good player and would be tough if he came back next year.

Izzo can basically say, if you come here and play four years, I will get you to the Final Four. It's unreal that he is continually able to do it and sometimes without a lot of talent.

Really like his guards.

All Card fans be sure to get your true blue gear out for Saturday

You all played well but that 7 seed played well too.

Izzo has to be the greatest March coach of all time

Saw that sign in the crowd:

January

February

Izzo

April

May

Hate that they lost, but really great game. Louisville fans have to be tickled with the season this team managed after all the drama of Jones-gate. It's easy to second guess after the fact, but I wish they'd have made a more concerted effort to get it to Trez on the block in the 2nd half

As for that halftime stat by the TV crew .....

UofL had a streak of 94 wins when leading by 6 or more at half.

Izzo has to be the greatest March coach of all time

He usually does it without 10 McD's also:thumb:
