Game 1 (ND won 77-73): 22 pts, 17 rebs

Game 2 (Duke won 90-60): 20 pts 10 rebs

Game 3 (ND won 74-64): 28 pts 8 rebs

So in total 70 points, 35 rebounds or 23.7 ppg, 11.7 rpg

Digger Phelps won't need his Viagra late Saturday evening. Notre Dame will set a NCAA Tournament record with 3 pointers made as they get their ticket punched back to Indiana for the Final Four.

Notre Dame 78

Kentucky 69

... says the same guy who said West Virginia 67, Kentucky 59. We see where that prediction got ya LRCW.

At the end of the day, Kentucky plays smothering defense for 40 minutes, like they always do, and wins by 11.

At some point people will start to admit the Harrison twins are actually very good defensively.

A zone would be a terrible idea against a team that makes their money from behind the arc. Man up and don't let them get clean looks.

I have seen nothing this year that would make me pick anyone against the Harrison's this year. But if they don't get it done, there is Ulis and Booker (who like the Harrison's plays MUCH better D than he gets credit for even though he might not be ready for a prime time matchup like Grant), or WCS, and if all else fails we can reach down and grab the guy who played lockdown defense on Nik Stauskas in the second half last year in the Elite 8 Dominique Hawkins.

It got me exactly what I wanted, just like it has all year. :thumb:

ND has 2 wins over Duke and NC , think they have played some pretty good opponents, hope for a clean well played game by both teams, best team Saturday night will come out on top. Both classy programs.

Agree and they beat them back to back in the ACC tourney. They will be confident. Big + UK has isa our defense. Think it will win out but not as much as some are posting.

My biggest worry is UK coming down after being so excited to put a whipping on WVU.

I am not around a tv what are the so called experts on ESPN saying today what the blueprint is now Draft #3 that Notre Dame can do to beat the Cats?

I can't give too much info. on the officials for tomorrow's game, mainly because I don't know anything about 2 of them (west coast guys).

The third is a good official and has seen UK multiple times this year.

I look for this one to be much cleaner than last night's game (obviously) and for there to be an actual flow.

As for a score, I'll say

UK 71

ND 62

I can guarantee he is very glad his WVU "prediction" was incorrect.

Guess I should've read the whole thread before I posted...

ND wins this game, I pretty much secure a win in pool for about 2 grand. I don't want to say ND has a slim chance to win this game and upset the UK fans, but there is a chance of a very good game going down Saturday night.

If I'm ND and they stick a mic in front of me today, I say something along the lines of, "They're a great team. We're going to need to bring our A game, and even that might not be enough. We aren't going to back down though."

Don't. Poke. The. Bear. :lol2:

I would say: "Y'all know why I'm here". :D

I'd say if KAT can get 70% of that average with the number of minutes he'll play as compared to Okafor the Cats would be in decent shape.

One thing that worries me though is you can't always count on the jumpers falling like last night to win from here on you need that consistent inside scorer that can get you a bucket when you have to have one. That's the only thing I'm not completely bought into with the Cats.
