I think Flood and Cole V will be the difference in this game for Cov Cath to win. Flood does all the little things to help the team win. Cole has to have a good offensive game. I have stated before that the match ups of the big men will be a challenge for Cov Cath . Should be a great game. This Clark Co fan is pulling for them.:thumb:

Will Cole have more points or have more mispronunciations of his name?

Man, if I had known you'd go so far down the wormhole on this issue, I'd never have jokingly brought it up in the Doss thread.

To put a bow on this, your friend didn't question CovCath, he said, "...they suck and won't win the 9th..." Sorry I continue to find that preposterous 49 days later.

When you're overmatched inside you either pack it in OR you put a lot of pressure on the perimeter.

I'm curious to see how CCH goes about it.

Will Cole have more points or have more mispronunciations of his name?

you say Cole, I say Cal. you say Van, I say Von. You say Handorf, I say Hondorf. All so confusing.

I love watching Scott Ruthsatz's coached teams. He squeezes every ounce of talent out of the role players. Heppler and Schumate gave some big minutes last night, they know their roles and they don't step outside of them. When Cole got his 2nd foul in the 2nd quarter, Ruthsatz started subbing Cole/Massey on offense and defense. The little things that most high school coaches would not think about.

CCH has a tall order today though, I am curious to see if Owensboro goes zone. I have to work today, hopefully I can watch it from the computer this evening.

Anyone who can't pronounce his name shouldn't be behind a microphone.

Owensboro guard play will be the factor of this one. we know what Miller and Holman will bring!

I mean, yea... how dare I make the mistake of questioning Covington Catholic based on what I'd heard and them having an early loss and a less than impressive win over Perry County Central.

Best team in the State. No one stops them. Enjoy your run. Dynasty. No one can stop them, don't let anyone tell you any different.

You seem to be pretty big into Covington Catholic's run, getting to be in Rupp and all. Are you one of the alumnus who goes in and practices with them to get them ready for State or just a guy who is really into this run?

I'm not exactly sure why you are getting so offended, I don't think MTGL was trying to upset you.

But CCH fans are used to this type of criticism. Same stuff, different day.

Also, no alumni "go in and practice to get them ready for state." I am closer on the matter than anyone in the world, so please send the false accusations elsewhere.

Who wins, by how much, and why?

"Just to cut to the chase, are your basketball friends in the K-Y predicting a Doss victory this afternoon? Reading between the lines with this post, that appears to be what you're alluding to."

Since I got asked about my opinion on the last game, I'll go ahead and respond to this one since I didn't get a chance to last time (aside from taking Doss in the poll). My "MENSA members" tell me that Owensboro will win this game (inside joke)...

Seriously though, no one can beat Covington Catholic, the best team and best dynasty in the State. It's not even close. If you are even questioning the Colonels losing, you should have your head checked.

Well, you must not have been in the same position last year. Don't you remember the quote?

What time is the game?

Owensboro will be too much to handle on the inside with the 2 big men. CovCath better be ready to play some physical basketball against Owensboro!!!
