Central Hardin and Boyle should be a great game to kick-off the season. You will need a top 5 defense in this game with Boyle's offense. Believe me their defense is no slouch either.

What they are doing now is just fine. These so called mythical " state middle school state championships' don't mean a thing in the big picture. Stay within your conference and area so the parents can get there to see their kids play after they get off work.

We know. Is 7 state titles in high school real enough for you? Let's not act like Boyle County doesn't know what they are doing. Let's not act like Boyle County has never won a title before. Without playing for mythical titles in middle school. Let's not act like this is Boyle County's first rodeo. I can assure you it isn't and that they will be just fine whether they play in these middle school leagues on steroids or not. Highlands and Trinity sure don't play in this leagues now do they? Boyle County doesn't need that middle school league for future success.

And Boyle Middle plays Lex Cath every year. They also have a scrimmage against Wayne Co, Coach Smith believes in fundamentals and learning at the middle school age and worries about championships in High School, pretty sure what he has done speaks for itself. Boyle Middle schedule has Anderson, West and East Jessamine, Lex Cath, North Hardin, Lex Christian, Lincoln, Mercer, Danville, Bondurant and the scrimmage with Wayne.

LOL none of those teams have won a kymsfa championship.

Lex Cath, Wayne have been runner up. LCA won 8th grade small school two years ago.

Well if they haven't won it all then why should Boyle County Middle School be trying to play with them? That makes no sense.

 

I knew this would turn into a commercial for the KYMSFA and an attempt to belittle the Boyle County football program. Damn shame. Plantman is too predictable with his ulterior motives.

Don't remember mentioning anything about any of the teams winning a state championship. I just listed the teams on their schedule for anybody interested in knowing. I guess winning middle school championships have become more important than the high school ones. Thanks for your 2 cents because that is all i can see it's worth.

How has that experience translated to titles in High School? Lex Cath hasn't won since '07 I believe. PT? They've won maybe 2 State Titles? Tons of talent but rarely translates into trips to L'ville.

 

I'm with Purple, I think the Rebels know what they are doing with "their" program.
