In fact the opposite could be said. Belfry is the two time defending State Champs and return more than any top team in the class besides maybe Central. With that said In all the prediction threads the common theme was that Botle and LexCath are seemingly ecstatic to dominate this new class together. Reading this thread it sounds to me that Smith has the old gang together and Boyle simply needs to hit play and return them to the days of the Tammes and Leffews and start collecting trophies.

I agree with you 100%. 3A should be very interesting. I'm exciting to see how much Josiah Robbins has progressed.

 

Also, speaking of Belfry. I'd like to make a trip down to their stadium this year. I've yet to watch a game there yet.

Boyle returns from camp today. The tough practices have begun. These are the times that identify the players you can really count on.

LOL none of those teams have won a kymsfa championship.

 

Great you got Wayne, who started to be a powerhouse once their teams started having success in KyMsFA.

 

Scrimmage went well last Friday night.

 

Boyle Middle A Team (8th grade) beat last year semifinalist Wayne Middle A Team (8th grade) 8-0. And by 8-0, I mean....8 TD's to 0 TD's.

Would be nice to see the Boyle Co 7th and 8th teams play against some of the good competition across the state. All I keep hear is how loaded and good they are.

 

See above post....they could hold their own vs any team in the state. We play in a conference and will not participate in "state tourneys" because our kids are encouraged (including Coach Smith) to participate in other sports such as basketball, which has already begun practice before our conference tourney ends.

 

High School Titles is what we do, don't see much gain in Middle School Titles.

I'd guess Hagen Ellis is around...5'10", 190ish.

Just keeping up with the Jones. There isn't a school in the state of KY that doesn't have multiple hold backs dressing up in every sport. At this point people whining about hold backs are spewing sour grapes. Every school is benefitting from at least a few hold backs who are studs.
