February 16, 201511 yr What is the expected # of inches in NKY? From the looks of it, 6-12". But with snowstorms they can cut down pretty rapidly, so if this storm moves just a few miles north, we will be towards the 12 inch range.

But I distinctly remember "borrowing" some trays during the spring 1974 storms at Morehead and sliding down the hills in front of the girls' dorms. Best I can recall, the goal of impressing the ladies was not attained.

Had one too many beers and suddenly thought I was a professional ice surfer, standing upright and giving out a Tarzan scream as I started off the hill.....but wasn't on my feet for long. Left the Ravine with bruised ribs and sprained wrist.

February 16, 201511 yr Within the hour. Just looked at the radar...its almost on top of us in Somerset.
February 16, 201511 yr A training band of snow on a line between Madison IN and Maysville KY has produced about 2-3" already. No snow yet in the Greater Cincinnati 275 loop. NWS Enhanced Radar Mosaic: Central Great Lakes Sector Loop Safe travels.....and check that last comment. A co-worker just reported snow starting to cover cars in Burlington-Erlanger area. The white death has arrived!!! :lol2:
