I havent dealt with LLWS in about 5 years or so, but back then, you had to submit per player a big packet of stuff, of which was proof of residence, that someone in the regional & national offices had to sign off on that they confirmed/checked/verified.

If I heard correctly this morning there was a relationship with the team reps and the person that signed off on this. I believe that person was suspended as well. Could have heard wrong though. If that is the case, lifetime ban for them as well.

I guess that I should stay away from comedy.

February 11, 201511 yr I read several weeks back this was being looked into and probably wouldn't go the team's way. In the article I read then, the local LL rep for the Jackie Robinson area evidently somehow redrew district lines/boundaries on his own without the knowledge of other LL reps in the areas that were affected. One of the reps for an affected area started to make a big stink about it saying some of the kids on the Jackie Robinson team should have been on his team, and they had some others players as well that should have been on other teams had the boundaries not been tampered with. If this is the case, why it wasn't addressed before the season and waited till after the world series to come to the forefront I don't know. Seems that this article states other LL reps in the area knew what was going on and played a part in it. Just sad all around. Edited February 11, 201511 yr by BigVMan23

The guy who complained got beat by them 43-2 so there was a real sour grapes feel to his complaining. He waited until he got beat to complain instead of addressing it beforehand. He's been complaining to anyone and everyone since his team got beat.

If you lose 43-2, knew beforehand but didn't report it...you need to send a new scout. Yikes!
