February 10, 201511 yr The WCS dunk against Florida was nice because of his athleticism, we usually see guards or smaller guys making the big splash. A center's dunk is usually routine. WCS's was anything but routine!
February 10, 201511 yr I haven't read this thread but there better be some slams by James Lee. He was a man!
February 10, 201511 yr More of a philosophical and less UK v. UofL question, so please don't take it that direction. Is anybody else less impressed with the WCS dunk because he didn't possess the ball all the way through the dunk? I thought the same thing about the Blake Griffin dunk a few years ago and the one on #SCTop10 this AM. To me, if you are on the way to dunking, don't actually get there and happen to throw the ball through the net, it isn't really a dunk. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Dunks like that do not excite me. It was cool looking, but there is something about imposing your will all the way to grabbing the rim.
February 10, 201511 yr The Dirk one against MSU that others have mentioned was the first in my mind on seeing the thread title. He just kept rising!
February 11, 201511 yr 1. I recall Walter McCarty with a 360 on Senior Night. 2. James Lee and Jack Givens brought the house down on their Senior night vs UNLV 3. Alley Oop from half court, 1981 vs LSU. Minnifield to Bowie
