The Dirk Minnifield and Heshimu Evans dunks were my favorites. Dirk was really up on his and Evans was a sweet reverse dunk.

James Young in the finals against UConn was straight up homicide.

 

I was a big fan of Derek Anderson dunking over IU back in 1996 at Freedom Hall. I was at that game so it holds some sentimental value.

He had one against Georgia that was awesome and one against S. Carolina that are part of the link. Both were man dunks.

He had a lot of them. But I believe he had a monster dunk against Vandy.

More of a philosophical and less UK v. UofL question, so please don't take it that direction.

 

Is anybody else less impressed with the WCS dunk because he didn't possess the ball all the way through the dunk? I thought the same thing about the Blake Griffin dunk a few years ago and the one on #SCTop10 this AM. To me, if you are on the way to dunking, don't actually get there and happen to throw the ball through the net, it isn't really a dunk.

James Lee had a few thunderous dunks back in the day but I just could not find very many clips. Of course with Caywood and Ralph describing them they sounded great anyway.
