He signed the contract knowing full well the consequences. I think he got what he deserved. As for the front office, yes they are to blame as well. I said Kobe was partly responsible. It leads to an interesting question, who will be relevant sooner, the Knicks, Lakers or Celtics?

I respect Kobe but it is not like he was not paid really well during his long Laker career. I don't want to see him hurt but his legacy is set. To answer your question, I have no idea. All seem so far away, it is hard to say which one will dig out first. I hope it is the Celtics.
