Enough of this baseball stuff though, let's get back to the awesomeness of Kobe.
January 27, 201511 yr Jeter sucks. He's a perfect example of an athlete who stays in the media's good graces and in society's good graces so his athletic exploits are overblown and overhyped. As long as he played he was never one of the top 3 shortstops I would choose to have on my team. Then you would be a horrible baseball GM and should stick to basketball. And I hate the Yankees.

He needs to go ahead and retire and give the Lakers a chance to build a team. All he's doing is prolonging the rebuilding for his own selfish reasons. No one wants to come and play with him, he wants to be the superstar number one on the team and those days may be behind him other than shooting 40 shots a game. His ego will get in the way of the Lakers putting any talent around him.

He's not washed up, he's old and his body is screaming at him to hang it up. Even if he retires this year won't the Lakers still owe him money next year? I'm asking. I'm not sure how that works. He's owed one more year of money. I was wondering if he still gets it or some of it if he retires.
