9th region Refs?

I agree. While there are going to no calls and calls that we don't like for one reason or another, these guys and gals do the best they can do. If you don't like how they are calling a game you're more than welcome to become an Official yourself.

This thread is way off from what I anticipated I'm just looking to see what officials are looked at by others as top notch. Myself and I'm sure you guys like games that the Refs let it be known how the game is going to be called and that's how it plays out and this year I haven't seen a consistant game be called.

Most referees are viewed as bad because those judging them are biased for one team. I find the refs do a much better job when I do not care who wins.

Brian Sandlin as mentioned above is also as solid as they come.

- Just to name a few more off the top of my head. All these guys are as solid as they get in the 9th region IMO.

That is not your intention. Your first post made your intentions crystal clear.

I would agree 100 % with you....

Ouch,,I believe Panther 15 hit a nerve.....

WOW! That's obvious!

If I heard correctly the 9th Region is on its 4th basketball assignor in about the same years. I've been to a bunch of games (girls/boys) myself and I have to say I've started seeing new faces that I'm not used to seeing. Can anyone confirm that? And if so, what changes is everyone else seeing?

Bingo... Hard to be fair to refs when you have a rooting interest.

Better than the past.

Ouch' date=',I believe Panther 15 hit a nerve.....[/quote']

No nerve but don't lie. He made a strong statement and then said he was just wondering. Have sack and stand behind your belief.

Where has Bob Cole been this season? 1 of, if not the best officials in the 9th, but I have yet to see him this season and I have been to several games.

Sack up, one of my favorite sayings!
