Stats won't reflect it but Romes played really, really well tonight. Not a surprise to those who follow CCH. He battled and made life hard for NCC. They did score but he put a big strong body and added to some fatigue late in the game.

Would love to see Romes just shoot one of those wide open 3's. what the coaches would do!:ohbrother:

The Colonels proved to be the top team tonight. Great game to watch.

I respect the coach and I love Baci, but some of those assistants are a lot to take. Every time out 4 assistants found a ref to complain to.

I'm sure it bothers some (not me) but CCH has developed an attitude or , as the kids like to say, some "dog" in their game. Saw it tonight. Loved it.

I actually like players that have a little attitude and can back it up with their play.

Like I stated in the predictions and everyone thought I was nuts. The Colonels out hustled NCC in every aspect of the game, NCC looked tired at the end and it showed in their play.

Completely agree. Had the best officials that the 9th has to offer, so I am sure they knew when enough would be enough. I thought that the officials did a great job. Just annoyed by the reaction of a couple of their coaches.

NewCath can let them have their dog, they need to steal their fire and intensity.

The Breds are liken the Bengals..they never show up in big games. Same story every year. Frustrating for this alum.

My thoughts exactly walking out tonite Clyde.

 

McDonald was gassed by mid 3rd Qtr. Post entry turnovers because he could not meet his passes,

 

Coach R and college court size a good combo for Colonels,

 

Both are here to stay too, bodes well for future.

I'll be short and sweet, so I don't catch the wrath of the NewCath faithfully.

How pray tell do you beat a team with 5 players 6'7"-7'0" and then lose to a team with a 6'4" & 6'6" player?

 

How/why do you let the the other team dictate the flow of the game?

 

You have arguably the best two big men in the state, yet fail to pound it inside against smaller defenders?

 

Congrats to CovCath, you outplayed the Breds in EVERY facet of the game.
