January 8, 201511 yr For those that are UK fans that primarily hate Duke do you mind me asking why? In my case I'm not sure. I didn't like Duke as far back as 1966 when they were rated number 1 for a while before Kentucky took over as number 1. Then UK defeated Duke 83-79 in the semifinals, then lost to Texas Western in the championship game. Kentucky defeated Duke in the 1978 title game. Then came the infamous 1992 regional finals game. Followed by the revenge game in the 1998 regional finals. I suppose a dislike has just evolved over the years. Plus, I don't like Duke's coach K. He's a good coach who, like Cal, is a better coach because he has always been able to recruit NBA talent. Realistically he probably should have more national championships than he's won. But there's just something about him that irks me, and I can't really pinpoint it, but it's there. My second most disliked team would be Indiana. Third would be North Carolina. Fourth is Louisville. Fifth is a tie between Kansas and UCLA.

January 8, 201511 yr I hate Louisville and Duke pretty evenly in basketball. Overall, it's Louisville and not even close. Of course being a UK fan, I have a great dislike for Tennessee and Indiana as well. And while I'm not an Ohio St. fan, I cannot stand Michigan. And attending Morehead State I don't really have a choice but to dislike EKU and Murray St. I guess I have a lot of hate inside me. :lol2:
January 8, 201511 yr North Carolina. (2 reasons: I live down here and put up with them. 1977, 4 Corners, Dean Smith.) Indiana. (They were #1 because of Bobby Knight. But it's hard to hate them as much without him. Until 2011-12 season. :irked:) Louisville. (Natural IN-State rival. But I have rooted for them before so they can't rank at the top) Duke. (Ironically I felt sorry for them up until the 1992 game. Rooted for them in the '92 title game. Then got tired of them always being so great. :lol2: Since '98 game the hate has cooled to a loathe. It might not even be that if not for PP92. :thumb:) LSU. (Dale Brown was one I loathed. He was a jerk until he started winning and then he became this existential guru to some. I always thought he was over rated as a coach and in his character. He could lie straight faced and have convinced himself it was the truth enough to pass a polygraph)
January 8, 201511 yr Wait... Dayton? I'm fine... I promise... X grad of 99. Hate the arena, hate the fans (nearly got in a fight after 2004 A-10 championship game). Flyer fans (at least back then) were as obnoxious as could be.
