January 6, 201511 yr (I'm also stealing this topic from formerkywrestler and the MLB forum.) Terry Bradshaw was playing football before I was ever watching it, so I'll rule him out. That would definitely have to make my choice be The Bus. How can you dislike Jerome Bettis?
January 6, 201511 yr I actually like a lot of the folks on the teams I dislike the most. Cowboys: Romo seems to be a likeable guy and the Romocoaster has been entertaining to watch. While not a player, I think it is fair to throw in a larger-than-life personality/owner like Jerry Jones. Patriots: Brady. Let's face it, dude is a pimp. It would be awesome to be Brady. Gronk is a rockstar in his own right.
January 6, 201511 yr Jerry Rice. I still think of what might have been if the Bengals had drafted him instead of Eddie Brown in 1985.
January 6, 201511 yr Can't remotely like a Steeler, Brown or Raven. But if I had to name some Ravens - Flacco; Browns - Cribbs; Steelers - Mean Joe
January 6, 201511 yr Peyton Manning. He's the Arnold Palmer of the NFL. Similar appeal with the fans, knows how to conduct himself, and has a lasting marketability. I think Arnie would agree. I don't particularly hate either team he has played for.
January 6, 201511 yr Michael Irvin - Cowboys Greg Lloyd - Steelers I like my professional players to be high character guys.
