Time to remember @Birdsfan. Yesterday was the feast day of Padre Pio, which was Dave's avatar.

I miss Dave, and every time I read a Highlands' thread I think of him in the same spot at every Birds' game and walking over to spend time with him during the game.  Special, special guy.

Unfortunately my wife is now one of those classmates that we recognize.  We just had our 40 year class reunion a couple of weeks ago.

Dave was the kind of guy that you do remember on a regular basis.

11.5 years since his passing.

Super nice guy we had a great time talking every time I ran into him.

Dave was a really good friend to me.  He was here at BGP from the very very beginning stages and I think an integral part of the growth and success.  Hard to explain to people who wasn't around then how much fun it was to come to BGP and have real discussions.  

I miss him and it is hard to believe it has been 11.5 years.  That does not seem possible.

I am 11.5 years late to this thread and did not know Dave.  Was his father Ken, formerly a baseball and basketball coach at Campbell County?

Yes sir!   Dave’s parents are wonderful people.

Ken was just a wonderful guy to learn from as both a coach, teacher, and all around type of person we would all like to have our children learn from.  As an athlete on two of his teams we all looked up to and respected him.
