BGP has accurately predicted every UK/UL basketball game since Cal arrived in Lexington.

A bit surprised UL played four guys 35+ minutes. UK wore them down and made plays down the stretch to keep them at arms length.

Louisville had one assist. Total For the entire game.

 

That's nuts. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a team ever have just one assist for an entire game.

UK survived a hard fought game in a tough enviroment. Funny how most of the talk going into the game was about how the Freshman would'nt be prepared for such a hostile enviroment as it was their first true road game, but yet the Freshman seemed to carry the team to victory for the most part.

 

Sending up prayers to Chris Jones that he will be able to fully recover from the near death experience that occurred in the first half. Hate to see a kid injured like that.

Honestly, I think Ullis matched up better in this game. I thought he would before the game. Andrew is great imo, however being 6'6 and playing against a 5'10 quick, aggressive guard is a matchup nightmare usually. Against most teams it wouldn't be an issue, but Jones is small and fast, which disrupted Andrews game. Thankfully, Kentucky has a small and fast guy they can play in that situation.

I suspect Harrison keeps starting just because there likely won't be two or three more games even close to this for UK. In big road games (Florida, LSU) and tournament games, I'd look for Ulis to get more time like today.

I couldn't believe that. He had to have known that they saw that the elbow didn't come anywhere near him after they watched to replay. Maybe he was hoping it was a bad angle.

 

I was against Jones flopping on the non-elbow. When there is a jump ball on a rebound like that, an arm across can be startling and cause you to fall backwards. But to rub it even after they'd went to the replay was quite silly.

@howielindsey: Rozier was the best guard in the game, but Ullis was a close second. Harrisons were weak.

Best part was when he returned to the floor still rubbing his jaw.

 

Dude is weak. Hate to see guys acting like that. I now hate Jones.

Need to get Ulis in the flow of a consistent 25-30 minutes a night. Even if it means going 3 guards and playing him with Andrew more often...
