Working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day?

Featured Replies

Got up at 3am, just finished working. Getting ready to leave for Evansville and will return home around noon, and will work from then till about 7 tomorrow night. But, it's all from home, so it's all good.

All day today (although probably cut out a little early if its slow), off Christmas Day, work all day Friday.

Same

We're closing at 1. Mrs. S and I should be on our way to Apopka by no later than 2:30. It's about like driving from Cincinnati to Lexington.

I have to work Friday, so I'll be coming home tomorrow night. The kids are bringing Mrs. S home Saturday.

Working right now. Sales on days like today suck. I'm leaving soon.

Since I moved from a union job to management I've not had to work a Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. In my first several years on the railroad I worked the majority of them. It has been nice to be able to stay home with my family the last 9 years.

Working tonight and tomorrow night. 12 hour shifts.

I noticed just about every barber shop was open this morning as well.

Every one...except mine.:arghh: Was looking forward to a nice shave.

I am at work...though very little going on today...place is almost empty.

I used to love working at the bank on Christmas Eve, as lots of people thought bank was closed and we didn't do much.

Close to a 12 hour day today, off X-Mas, and back at it on Friday.
