Went out this morning to get a fresh Hardees Biscuit for breakfast and was noticing how many businesses were open this morning.

 

How many of you are working today? Have to work Christmas Day?

My wife's office decided to work today and take Friday off instead, giving them a 4 day weekend.

 

When I was a kid it seems like ever place was closed on Christmas Eve as well as Christmas.

 

Then when I started working I worked just about every Christmas Eve for the next 30 years. You know how hard it is to get shoppers to leave a Walmart Store on Christmas Eve :ohbrother: damn near impossible!!!

Half a day today, 10 hour day on Friday.

Retired for 6 years.

 

Went to the Amish place on the Mason-Fleming county line and bought a dozen hubcap-sized donuts for daughter to take back to Louisville. Mailed a package at the Washington Post Office. Lots of places open today.

I noticed just about every barber shop was open this morning as well.

I'll work about half the day then head over to my parents' place to watch the WKU bowl game with them, both Hilltopper alumni.

Work 12 hours tonight and 12 hours tomorrow night. Such is life.

Back when I worked at the Airport, I loved working Christmas day. Quad time is a beautiful thing.
