Levees should be well reinforced with all the sandbags filled already in this thread. Keeping my powder dry.

Kentucky should win comfortably. Their length will be a huge issue for the Cards, especially in the back court. I think the Cards can hang in the front court, barring any foul trouble. UK doesn't have anybody with the motor of Harrell, so he should have a decent game. Mangok will need to play better, and Chinanu will also need to play well too. ALL of them have to stay out of foul trouble or it could be night night for the Cards. Have to protect the perimeter, especially on certain shooters. Hand must stay in Booker, Aa. Harrison, and Ulis' face when they are on the court. Those guys can beat you from deep.

Since the Cats have all the depth they can just foul the Cardinals every trip and watch them shoot 40% or lower from the free throw line...........:lol2:

In all seriousness unless the Cardinals begin making free throws with some regularity they are not going to beat really good teams. Even if they are having a good shooting game the FT issue will get them.

Kentucky can't attack Louisville by making their defense go baseline to baseline chasing shooters. You think Kentucky's half court offense has struggled against some zones so far-- well, Louisville will give us tons of looks that can frustrate us.

I think we can limit Louisville offensively, but they can do the same to us. Game is going to be Grindhouse.

Kentucky will win this one by upper single digits. Louisville won't be able to handle the height of Kentucky and like someone said, they are poor at the free throw line and Kentucky has plenty of fouls to give.

Can't wait for this game! It will be my first UK/UofL game @ Louisville. I'll be wearing my blue loud and proud!

GO CATS!

Too early to make a score prediction.

If Louisville plays like they did last night, they can definitely win. I hope they let them play, do not need another 51 foul called night again.

Cats should win in the 8-10 range, however this is going to be the first road test for the 4 frosh so how they react to the environment will be key.

This is what is most concerning to me. The UL game will be UK's first in a hostile environment this season.

Why would any Kentucky fan be worried about Louisville?

The Cardinals are a really solid college team. Doesn't mean they can compete with the Nike Developmental Academy of Lexington, John Calipari, Executive Director.

Two different levels here: Louisville's good, Kentucky's elite.

My only concerns as well.

Why would the IU game worry you ? IU has a decent team. UL ran away in the second half as the Cards should have against a decent team.

UK is slightly better than IU....

UL has a great team and the game on the 27th should be a great one. One that could go either way.

Harrell will be the most well rounded athlete on the floor. UK has the numbers to go at him all night. Get that guy in foul trouble and it could be over before half time.

Any game that doesn't end their season with a loss I don't worry about.

Exactly. Will be a great test for the Cats.

No they can't. They've proven against bad competition they can sometimes get hot, besides that UK has been as putrid as it comes from the perimeter. Hopefully some reverse psychology will take place here and they get hot that game ;)

I am expecting an ugly game. Pitino loves to muck it up against UK and that gives teams the best chance of victory. The rivalry effect keeps it competitive.
