Louisville 64 Ohio State 55

Featured Replies

Louisville looked really good in spurts. I think if they would of stayed attacking and not have settled for quick 3's in the 2nd half they would have kept the double digit lead and maybe won by 20. It wasn't pretty but a win is a win.

Both teams looked bad imo, but UL was clearly the better team.

Where is everyone...? Do you cards fans just show up for football?

Buckeyes looked like a joke.

Maybe they should not schedule so many cupcakes before facing such a good team.

Classic Pitino. Shannon Scott led nation coming in with 10.4 assists per game, and had a great big goose egg tonight. Depth a problem for Cards this year, and need better shooting from Jones, but overall a nice win.

After watching this game, two things became apparent: 1) Dec. 27 could be a long night for the cards, and 2) OSU should not be ranked in the top 25 at this point. Both teams looked dismal at best.

I would have liked seeing better game control/management in the second half; overall, a good win though. I also worry about the depth at this point.

I went to bed when the Cards were up like 25-10. The Cardinals defense looked really good. If the Cardinals can start hitting some outside shots they're going to be really tough.

Or maybe it was past midnight on a Tuesday night...

Awesome. Can't even read the threads of my own team.

I'll give you a lil something Deuce.

I did fall asleep in the 2nd half, so up until I fell asleep I thought Louisville looked pretty tough. They looked very good defensively and forced Ohio State to turn it over quite a bit and take too many tough jumpers. While I don't think Ohio State looked very good last night, I think that was more because of Louisville defense. Kentucky and Louisville both have very tough defenses, just in different ways.

I don't know about guard depth, but they seem to have some depth in the bigs. I thought the Egyptian kid played well, blocking shots and made some good passes. You have to remember, their 2nd and 3rd big men both picked up two pretty quick fouls.

Love watching Harrell dunk. The one where he cherry picked cause he fell was good, but the lob a little later on the break was awesome. Really love/hate seeing him develop more and more. Seems like a good leader and puts a fire into some guys I'm sure.

Rule 14

I personally think that the game on December 27th might be pretty ugly unless both teams pick up their offensive efficiency. It might come down to who shoots the deep ball the best. Coach Cal and his assistants know way more basketball than me, but I'd maybe have Booker and Aaron Harrison playing a little more time and together that day.

Also, anyone have any comments on Shane Battier? I think he'd be a better coach than a commentator.

He didn't do much for me early but then when I heard him compare the Egyptian to Kevin Durant and Shawn Bradley over about five minutes time, I was done with him haha!
