Listening to this while eating lunch at my desk today. The Sixteen can SERIOUSLY do some work when it comes to choral music. At about the six-minute mark, they perform Victoria's arrangement of the Christmas responsorial, "O Magnum Mysterium" (O Great Mystery), that absolutely blew me away.

I made Christmas cookies yesterday! Betty Crocker (and Hoops) got nothing on me! :lol2:

Chocolate crinkle cookies, M&M cookies, gingersnaps and white choc. dipped pretzel rods.

My daughter and her best friend and I are trying to make Christmas Candy/Snacks today...Oreo Coal, Crockpot Peanut clusters, White Choc. Dipped Pretzels and possibly Oreo Balls.

Wow! Sounds great.

We gave the Christmas gifts to the boy I spoke of earlier in the thread. Got him mostly clothes, but a couple of games for his game system we got him. Then we put a crisp Benjamin in a box, in a box, in a box, in a box. It was comedy watching him open smaller and smaller boxes til he got to one the size of a wristwatch. He opened that thing and his eyes nearly bugged out. He looked at his mom, and said, "is this thing real?":lol2:

I love that boy. And I wish there was a way that I could bottle up that feeling I had then, and use it once a day at least.

I love stories like that.

I wish we could bottle the Christmas feeling and take a dose or two as needed all year long.

No doubt.

Finished my shopping this weekend. Now just have to wrap a few more and I'm completely done.

I hate wrapping presents.

Amen.

Amen.

I took advantage of the complimentary gift wrapping at the Harley Davidson store. I should have just wrapped it myself.

Had my immediate family on Saturday night to kick off the Christmas season. Gave everyone in my family a note that told them how much I cared and loved them and how our family, with all it's quirks and disagreements, is still our family, and the only one we get. Felt very good about telling them all how I feel about them.

I'm ready for Festivus. I've got a lot of things that I'd like to get off my chest! :angrybird8:

I'm not going there!

FYI, "coaches meeting" tonight, same time, same place.
