theguru Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Blount, who had well-publicized problems getting along with coaches in prior stops during his career, said after getting cut by the Steelers and then signed by the Patriots this week that he’s thrilled Belichick thinks enough of him to bring him back to New England. “It means a lot,” Blount said, via the Boston Herald. “Bill is a straightforward shooter. He’s a 100 percent honest person. I truly believe that if I do what I have to do, I’ll make myself a role on this team. Whatever I have to do, I’m going to do it to be productive. I’m going to stay ready, and whenever they call me to carry the ball, I’m going to go out there and do whatever I can to do to make them comfortable with the decision to bring me back.” Blount praises Belichick as ?100 percent honest? | ProFootballTalk
spindoc Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Who knows? I'm guessing that he's not bright enough for a veiled shot. Just a guess.

ggclfan Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I am on the fence and can't decide. If you see anything else about it please post it. I'm guessing he just wants to make a good impression with the Pats now. I don't read into it that he is ripping Tomlin. Blount doesn't have many NFL lives left. If he blows this opportunity, he may be done.
PurplePride92 Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 The only thing I think he could be implying is that Tomlin promised him carried or something. If he's that stupid that he can't understand why Bell got the rock all night on Monday night then good riddance.
Hellbird Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 The only thing I think he could be implying is that Tomlin promised him carried or something. If he's that stupid that he can't understand why Bell got the rock all night on Monday night then good riddance. I was as upset as Blount was with 0 carries Monday night. I had him on my fantasy team because my other RB was out and I was only behind .08 going into that game and my opponent had no be playing so all I needed was 10 yards from Blount and I win. I lost
lawildcat Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I took his comment more as Belichick laid it out for him about what he needs to see from him in order to give him a chance on the field which includes cutting out the stupid crap.
NEERFAN Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Something about Darth Hoodie and disgruntled RBs.
John Anthony Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Surprised the turd is still in the league.
ggclfan Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Jonas Gray deciding to show up late for practice this week helped Blount get into the game immediately. What was Gray thinking? Goes from 199 yards and 4 TD's to no carries...
TheDeuce Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Bell is better than Blount. End of discussion. If Blount is upset that Bell was getting more carries, then maybe he needs to be putting in more work at practice...
Jim Schue Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Bell is better than Blount. End of discussion. If Blount is upset that Bell was getting more carries, then maybe he needs to be putting in more work at practice... He could have actually earned PT by being productive on the field, but he wasn't. Other than the Carolina game, he's been terrible.
UKMustangFan Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 ^Looked pretty productive yesterday....Just saying. :idunno:
