Any word from these scrimmages? How did Harrison look without Jenkins? Model lost a lot so how did the young players look?

Johnson with 22 for Grant co. and Thompson with 27 for Harrison.

Grant had Harrison down by 20. Played well in first half with their best players on the floor. Johnson/Adkins were impressive getting to the basket. Grammer played a lot of reserves allowing Harrison to get back in the game and go up by 1. Pretty competitive scrimmage. To me Grant lost a lot in Hicks/Cummins. As the season progresses it will be interesting to see if they get the perimeter shooting they need to open things up for their bigs.

Did you get to watch the Model game? Grant should still be good this year. Heard they beat Dunbar too.

I'm not sure of the final score but Gallatin was beating model handily in the third quarter. Models big didn't play, illness.

Eminence beat Villa by about 8 or 10. Villa had about 5 varsity kids show up about halfway through the 1st quarter and game was pretty even from that point. Very physical for a scrimmage. Eminence really pushes the pace.
