Because he became official to Ohio State when he got the "O" tat on his upper arm. Duh.

 

Could easily be modified to an Oregon O I'm sure. Perhaps he could head down town. There's a place their that likes game worn jerseys.

If he's going to transfer to an SEC school he might as well just go about 150 miles and play for another Ohio guy in Coach Stoops at Kentucky.

One real scary thing is that "IF" Miller can stay healthy.....as good as Barret is, imo Miller is better

Don't forget QB Torrance Gibson who is the state of FL version of Braxton Miller, who is hoping to play in mop up duty next year. QB spot at OSU is a crowded place.

I'll be honest, I'll be surprised if Braxton is back in Columbus next year. Unless Barrett suffers a severe injury in these final three or four games, and looks doubtful to be back at full strength for the start of next season, I just don't see how Myer will sit him for all of next season. Maybe he'll shock me and come up with a truly inventive way of having both of them in the game at the same time. But, I don't see them using Miller the way Tebow was used that one year in Florida.

Barrett is a QB playing QB. Miller was an athlete playing QB.

If I am an Ohio State fan I would want Jones to be the starter and Miller to be the third string QB. The other two QB's are much more talented IMO. Miller had a lot of hype coming into college, more so than both the other QB's if I remember correctly. He has had a very good college career, however IMO has never won many top games for them. His completion percentage has been in the 50's and he has had arm problems. Barrett who took his place this year looked much better to me IMO, and Jones who ended the season looked the best out of all three. Plus with Miller you have no idea how he would react on the biggest stage. Jones showed even with no experience that the biggest moments were not to big on him. It doesn't get any harder than what he had it, no experience at all and he goes out and wins the Big 10 Championship, beat Bama and then Oregon to win the title. I don't think either one of the other QB's beat Bama. He is able to make NFL type throws unlike the other guys and they needed that to beat Bama. I hate Ohio State, however IMO Jones is the best out of all three and if I am an Ohio State fan that is who I want to be the starter.
