That was LHL trying to do their role in keeping the national money flowing in. Notice that a few days later the national party pulled out. And in the last poll they had McConnell ahead comfortably. It was completely bogus with a purpose.

If Mitch looked like George Clooney and Alison looked like Rosie O'Donnell he would have won by a 3 to 1 margin. That is still the #1 thing I remember from my Public Opinion & Voter Behavior class in college. Ability to get elected and ability to govern are two very different things.

I'm a fiscal conservative who belives infastructure is one of the federal governments main 3 jobs. The problems lies in the government over spending in areas they should not. We need politicians who reign in bad spending and spends money in areas like infrastructure.

 

I'd love to see a public poll on spending money on Obamacare vs infrastructure nationwide.

 

Health care is not the governments job to provide. But roads and bridges are something our government should be providing with our tax dollars.

Perhaps not a national career but you never know. People's memories are short and she's young. She still can have a strong career within the state.
