November 5, 201411 yr So, now that he's won, and President Obama can't win a 3rd term, what are we going to bicker about? Billary
November 5, 201411 yr That was LHL trying to do their role in keeping the national money flowing in. Notice that a few days later the national party pulled out. And in the last poll they had McConnell ahead comfortably. It was completely bogus with a purpose. Absolutely true, and this is why I label the LHL as a liberal rag.
November 5, 201411 yr Another question after tonight , does Grimes have a political career after tonight. MSNBC tonight attacked her on her concession speech and how partisan it was. Read that again MSNBC attacked her on being to partisan. She got demolished in the election and wasn't gracious in defeat . Her campign like I said two months ago was ran by amateurs . I see her announcing a run for Governor.
November 5, 201411 yr Despite what some may think, I am members of a number of organizations which would be considered quite liberal...Move-On, Change.org for example. I am mainly only conservative regarding the size and role of government and fiscal policy. Because I am included in those organizations as well as a number of environmentalist mailing lists, I think it is assumed by those groups that I am a democrat. They must, because I have received hundreds of e-mails from the democrats over the last few weeks, ALL of them pronouncing that Grimes has won and democrats will control the senate. Of course this is a mind game, but they must not know how much I hate to be manipulated.
November 5, 201411 yr I see her announcing a run for Governor. I could see that. I don't know why she thinks she could do that job either.
November 5, 201411 yr As you said she's a mindless drone that would be easily controlled by the Dem machine.
November 5, 201411 yr OK...so now that we're clear about AG....what about Mitch? So, what's going to change now that Mitch is back?
November 5, 201411 yr I see her announcing a run for Governor. I could also see that. I could see her winning but maybe not the next round.
November 5, 201411 yr I just don't see the Dem machine being happy with Jack Conway as a candidate. Even though he's a 100% liberal hack he has 2 problems for them. He's from Louisville (and probably un-electable because of it) and he actually thinks for himself.

He's from Louisville (and probably un-electable because of it) and he actually thinks for himself. Can one be a "hack" AND think for oneself?
November 5, 201411 yr Can you maybe be a little more specific? There are many bills sitting on Reid's desk that were passed with bi-partisan support in the house. (Keystone pipeline, regulatory reform, etc.) In an effort to protect Dems in the Senate from voting Reid just didn't allow votes. That will change. Some of those bills could get enough Dem votes that they could over ride an Obama veto which is what Harry was avoiding in the first place.
