What they have left that is most relevant is Marvin and Andy...and that's not a good thing! You can never win a AFC championship with those two anywhere near the football field(unless its on the opposing sidelines).
November 7, 201411 yr 11 Nov 16 1:00PMEST * AT Saints L 12 Nov 23 1:00PMEST * AT Texans L 13 Nov 30 1:00PMEST * AT Buccaneers W (if Dalton and Marvin miss the flight) 14 Dec 7 1:00PMEST * Steelers L 15 Dec 14 1:00PMEST * AT Browns W (we can always hope right?) 16 Dec 22 8:30PMEST + Broncos L 17 Dec 28 1:00PMEST * AT Steelers L So after going 3-0 to start the season I see a 7-8-1 record and yet another non winning season to add to Marvin's resume. Going into this season they were supposed to be one of the best teams and the favorite to win the division, if they don't make the playoffs this year there is nothing anyone can ever say to convince me that Marvin should still be here period.
November 7, 201411 yr 10 Nov 9 1:00PMEST * AT Jets GAME DAY 11 Nov 17 8:30PMEST + AT Titans 12 BYE 13 Nov 30 1:00PMEST ) Saints 14 Dec 7 1:00PMEST * AT Bengals 15 Dec 14 1:00PMEST * AT Falcons 16 Dec 21 1:00PMEST * Chiefs 17 Dec 28 1:00PMEST * Bengals This is what the Steelers have left. Really liking how that lines up for the Black'n'Gold.
November 7, 201411 yr Really liking how that lines up for the Black'n'Gold. Well if they are able somehow to win the next two on the road, I think they've got something good going.
November 9, 201411 yr [h=2]Are the Steelers the best team in the AFC North?[/h] Not at the moment. I was just thinking the same thing.
November 9, 201411 yr If these scores hold up, then the pattern is continuing. The bengals, steelers, and ravens all took turns being the hot best team in the divison for a few weeks and now it may be the browns turn. I just hope that means that pattern continues and the bengals take their turn again soon.
November 9, 201411 yr It's a week to week league. Your never as good or as bad as your last game. Plenty of flawed teams in the NFL.
November 9, 201411 yr Sadly, the Bengals will probably find a way to win the division again or squeak into a wild card spot. Then, after they get smoked in the playoffs...Marvin will be back because they made it there again. And that's not good for the team's future. They need a change...even though that probably means they'll drop off for a couple of years. Sometimes, you gotta take a couple steps back before you can move forward.
November 10, 201411 yr Steelers play up or down depending on the level of comp. Judging from that earlier schedule I quoted, it could spell trouble for the Black'n'Gold.
November 10, 201411 yr All of these teams are so dependent on QB play. Like most of the NFL this should surprise no one. Big Ben looked like an elite QB the last few weeks then today. Flacco can be great or he can be like when he plays the Bengals. AD is either pretty darn good or just awful when the lights come on. Hoyer is pretty consistent, then the Jags game can just leave you wondering. So with taht being said, I still think Big Ben is the best of a crazy group.
November 10, 201411 yr Offensive game plan today was a joke. Offensive game plan didn't muff a punt, fumble a pretty good slant play, throw 2 picks. The jets are a team you can't run against easily, if you get behind. Their DB's are worse than the Steelers. I would've passed against them, goteen a quick lead and then watch them implode trying to pass. When you turn it over, well.
