stickymitts
#1 - Recruiting Services who rank all the SEC recruits near the top of many of their lists. #2 - NFL Executives, General Managers, and Head Coaches. These people show their bias by drafting SEC players in record numbers. Um...wouldn't that mean they aren't biased? I mean, who else ranks players that actually matters? John Anthony
I will add this. When a Penn State takes an Ohio State to the limit' date=' it's because their conference stinks. When an SEC bottom-feeder pushes a powerhouse, it's because their conference is great.[/quote'] Each SEC team would win by 40 at Penn State. You don't think people will raise eyebrows if one of those top SEC teams struggles with Vandy, UT, or TAMU?

But it was in Lexington and Toby Keith was there.
coldweatherfan
I think there is somewhere close to 350 SEC players in the NFL. That's around 21% of the league.

So a 45-31 game is the same as a double OT game? Oh, and MS St is undefeated while tOSU lost to VT. You get a little more credit when you're undefeated vs having lost by 14 to a team that is 1-3 in ACC play.
born2reign
I think Joker is being a bit tongue-in-cheek with this thread and believes all the praise poured onto the league is more than justified given the level of talent and the success it's had in the last decade. Ohhhhhh...I'm embarrassed now :bag:

I am saying State is overrated and gets credit for another gauntlet week in the SEC in Lexington.
