Who do you all see as the coach in the 8th region that develops and gets the most out of their talent?

Agreed. He does thus year after year.

Jones has put a hurting on us a few times. That regional game was something else, a rough hour back home for sure.

Loved my view for the final quarter in that one!!!!! And the shot at the end!!!!!

Too early to tell, but this new Walton coach may be on the list eventually too.

2) Yager (Carroll County)

3) Simpson (S Oldham)

 

I know Simpson won the past two years but I give a huge amount of credit for those two seasons.

Have said this for years...it's Jon Jones, and it's not even close. Not to take anything away from other coaches, but what Jon has been able to do over and over again, is simply amazing.

I don't know a whole lot about Gallatin County but Glen Drury at Anderson County always has a tough team even without a lot of talent.

Simpson wins with a bunch of 5'10"s running 5game all day. Seems he does a solid job to me.

I think Coy Zerhusen from Oldham should be in the conversation. He put together a 23-7 season in his first year as varsity coach. Had only 1 player returning last season with a new group of varsity players.
