Big win to add some spice back in this rivalry.

Nice win Tigers!

I can get on board with that.

As someone that isn't a fan of either team, I'm glad X won...it's better when they can go back and forth than having one team dominate the other one as has happened the past several years.

I do think it will help renew interest. Attendance has been down the last few seasons. Less than 30k for a few years now.

:laugh::laugh:Well, Well, Well what have we here ??? St. Xavier 35 - Trinity 21!!!!!!!! Well it seems as if all the "Coaching", "Strength of Schedule", "Talent", "Experience" and What ever else you want to post about for the last 7 days, was NOT enough!!!!!! Tigers played a very inspired game and took command from the opening series. Contrats to Tigers for total TEAM Victory!!!! Congrats to coach Wolford for his first W against the Shamerocks. Many Trinity folks felt as if he was out in left field. I have to ask the question, where was coach Beatty tonight??? Congrats to the Defense which played inspired football and kept the Trinity O at bay playing catch up all night!!!!! The X Offense played very well as the score indicates. Great Job Tigers!!!! Great to be 1 - 0 in the District with Male next on the schedule. Enjoy the victory tonight and tomorrow and be ready to focus on Male for next week. Go Tigers...... And BTY, did I say I was happy!!!!!

Riverside, great mention of being 1-0 in the district, something that may get overlooked by some. I have to give Coach Bruner and the defensive coaches some love; he has done a great job of turning the defense around. The defense set up the offense and the offense did a great job finishing off drives with TDs instead of field goals.

Any suggestions why?

I think when one side starts to dominate it makes it less interesting for the casual fans that would show up to boost numbers.

Way to go Tigers you made a lot of alums proud tonight let's keep it going!

Who played QB tonight for T?

Who played QB tonight for T?

Ryan Young

Who played QB tonight for T?

Young.

Trinity should have played a better non-conference schedule. At least that's what they say in the college football forum.

This doesn't surprise me. The way they played at Bowling Green told me all I need to know. They are a very good football team.

Can someone elaborate to me on how big a difference there is in the talent at T than there is at X? I heard that a lot this week. I guess X is just that much better coached which led to their ability to overcome such a talent deficit.

In this game, the X staff had their players better prepared. The T players seemed lost in the first half.

So how much cred does Woolford and crew get now?
