Yeah, I think he had the game AvidTiger has been looking for.

Yes sir he did. He played like I expected him to play all season based on last year's play. He may be finally coming into his own as Nagle did later in the seaaon. As I said if the offense can help the defense even a little bit this team can go far.

Did the UofL game effect the turnout?

That and the rain.

Is this a possible drawback of being at a T or X...meaning, the fact that often QB's don't get to play till they're SR's prevents some of this natural progression from happening in say, a start of the JR year, thus preventing T and X from having really sharp QB play until later in the season when these first time SR starters have worked the kinks out? Just throwing that out there.

Huge win X congrats!

Congratulations Tigers!

I think you're absolutely correct. When a player has one year to be the starter there are going to be some growing, especially at the QB position. I know from an X stand point their QB usually has a strong second half of the season because of the learning process that goes on at the beginning of the year.

I work at school now where the HC will not start a QB unless the QB can start for at least 2 years.

Absolutely. Especially at qb at X, traditionally they stick with the senior qb even if they have a better piece in a lower class.

East Raider great point. But not always true

Both T and X historically, sit on more talented players if they are not Seniors.

Having said that Trinity started a Sophomore QB who was not ready - Young is head and shoulders better - no pun intended

As big a victory as this was, X needs to dedicate themselves to improving beyond where they are at now!!!! Big games against Male and Manual are on the schedule for the district championship. If you see Trinity again, they will be a different team and they will give you all you want and maybe a little more..... Keep your mind on the task at hand, keep working hard and improving. The next few weeks are big, however the post season is where all the marbles are collected....... Go Tigers!!!!

I like your style Riverside, way to lift up your team! Congrats to the Tigers on the win. And you are correct, the next potential time these two teams meet it will be an epic battle. :thumb:

Anyone know if there is a replay of this game available?
