That's not my man and I have no idea what he said. I meant to flip it on and I forgot.

And obviously I'm being very sarcastic. I'm ok with a one-game suspension.

As with some others here, I am strongly against gun-free zones, but the state of Kentucky currently allows each college and university to decide if weapons are allowed on campus (outside of the law that states you may have one in a vehicle on campus as long as it's put away). Citizens just can't say they disagree with the law and walk on campus with a weapon, any weapon, if the school does not allow it.

 

Just look up the weapons policy for EKU and WKU, they even mention bb and pellet guns, but just because UK just mentions weapons that can cause death or physical harm doesn't mean you can walk on campus with them.

 

It would be interesting if this happened at UC instead. People would be saying that it was typical of a UC athlete, that UC still keeps their name of UC meaning University of Convicts or University of Criminals.

 

I will say that the one week thing will change, as UK gets more facts as well as more outcry from parents and others. I would say at least a year and up to expulsion, which I would be satisfied anywhere in between.

 

Again, I don't see how some claim this isn't a big issue, but in the same breath say that they were lucky that the police didn't see them as they may have been at least shot. If you are doing something that if the police were around you may have been shot, it's not a small thing.

 

As someone else mentioned, they are not juveniles anymore, they see in a big boys world now.
