Yeah, I wouldn't like this either, and I'm not claustrophobic at all.

I'm an anxiety ridden mess.

 

In no particular order:

Death

Flying

Needles

Snakes

Spides/bugs of any kind. I hate my apartment, right now.

Heights

etc. etc.

 

None of these except heights.

I used to climb the Mt. Adam's steps for exercise and think nothing of it except for what a grind it is to make it all the way from the bottom of the steps at Adam's Crossing, all the way to the top where the old Monastery sits. Part of this journey takes you through limited wooded areas.

 

A couple of months ago as I was descending the steps and opting to travel certain pathways (wooded and residential) that would lead me into downtown, I encountered a FOX who at first did not notice me as I had him. I felt the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Then he noticed me and started coming closer to me freaking me out even more.

 

I did my best (but not very well) to climb a wall of sorts that I was standing near and watched the FOX dart into a patch of weeds to take cover. I assume I freaked him out as well.

 

Now I had a choice to either back track from where I had come from (which felt like a bad idea if he were to have followed), or creep past the patch of weeds that he was in to more quickly get to safer ground. I crept past his patch of weeds scared as hell, but thankfully no longer encountering him.

 

I just never imagined that foxes might be up in Mt. Adams, and no matter how much I used to love the both visually and physically breathtaking walk that I used to take for exercise, I can no longer bring myself to do it. All I can picture is me being left for dead in an area where it might be awhile before anyone would notice, and how nervous I'd be through the duration of trying again to conquer those steps with the thought that a FOX may be lurking about somewhere.

I'd like to see it. Because I've never seen/heard of a bobcat eat anything that wasn't fresh.

It actually doesn't show him eating the deer. He is sniffing it a bit and it looks like he tries to take a bite just as the video ends.
