So what facts have you gathered that we don't know?

I have a fact for him!

Typical! Just like in other forums "I know something but I can't tell what it is".

Could be a "source". ;)

Old sports dad......."Since a number of people mentioned Mills Rd facility. Please look at where the real problem is. Its the Kenton Co Commissioners and Scott Gunning (Parks Director). If you have a problem with the conditions at Mills Rd, I would suggest you attend a Commissioners meeting and ask some questions."

Didn't read the pieces about Mills rd facility.......but....each part of the mills facility is leased to a local organization......football is KYFA, soccer is ISC, and baseball has been Dixie , but is currently out for bids.........they are awarded to the organizations under different negotiated terms, in such a way as to be cost neutral to the County. So.....any complaints can come to the county and commissioners, but you may want to go to the organizations first. They are responsible for improvements, upkeep etc..........the common areas are maintained by the county.......lakes and shelters not within the other facilities.

Kenton County Recreation Commission meets the third Wednesday of every month at noon........

I have laid off this thread because I didn't have facts. I have gathered many. Talked to many. I have the FACTS on this "grant".

Karma is a real thing as I think the football Colonels are finding out...."grant" gets awarded, football Colonels get hammered on the field in two very highly publicized games, embarrassing losses. I am mainly a volleyball/soccer follower and, usually, a big fan of CCH but this whole thing doesn't pass the smell test.

CCH gets their "grant" and lose in so many other ways...even the untouchable Crazies are being criticized. Cheaters never win. I find it very sad. I hope the karma bus moves on.

OK big man with "the facts".

Let's hear them.

No. Not at all. Nothing that exciting. Lol

Ok, so not global...but it sounds like you think CCH did something funny to obtain this money.

Congrats to the Blueboys but come on, they couldn't find one inner-city school a little more deserving or in need of that money!?!

Those tags are very subjective and in no way synonymous.

Bengals have donated $150k to Harrison County for field improvements.

Cincinnati Bengals to donate $150,000 to Harrison High School - Story

Surely there must be a more deserving school...Isn't this $150k that could have been added to the CCH donation............kidding of course......I'm sure the people at Harrison that applied for the grant and followed all of the rules are very happy.....

That is correct. The organizations are responsible for everything from field maintenance, upgrades, concessions, and bathrooms. Scott and the county simply maintain the shelters, playgrounds, and ponds, along with the public area between the 3 areas. I've heard NKYFL dropped the ball on the football fields this year, and I know of 1 individual that has been trying to take over the maintenance of the fields so the kids play on a solid field. I have yet to hear who has taken over the baseball fields as Knothole's contract wasn't renewed (don't know if this was a Knothole or County decision).

My despise for CovCath and the people who represent it run deep and this is another good reason to hate them with all my soul. They have ruined the spirit of charity by stealing from the poor and giving to the rich. Sleep well, CovCath. Oh and GO RAVENS!!!

If you see a bunch of new doors on churches and/or football facilities in Ludlow or at Holy Cross thank a CCH grad for donating them and for doing the work for free.

I know that doesn't fit your narrative.
