Bengals and NFL announce $200K grant for Covington Catholic High School to help with new athletic field. @FOX19

200K???

Why? I mean, why that much money to any one school?

Awesome! Hopefully the lights will be there ASAP...

Why not to a school with poverty. ...

Congrats to the Blueboys but come on, they couldn't find one inner-city school a little more deserving or in need of that money!?!

Can you say "Competitive advantage"??????? I would say the ire of some folks in Boone County would be raised by something like this. If I had a kid that was early in his career, I might organize a Bengal Boycott with the funds going to facility improvements!

Yea, a lot of questions there. Must be some kind of other connection.

Duh, whos kid goes to Cov Cath, come on BGP I had more faith in you than this.

As we can see in the posts already in this thread, something meant as positive PR could turn into a PR snafu for the Bengals.

How about some $$$ for a new bus. Old Blue has seen better days. I saw it parked at the Crescent Springs/Villa Hills Fire Department Sunday morning early. Not sure why.

I really don't know. Fill me in!

Me too! Don't make me go through the rosters till I figure it out!

Who are you talking about? Joe Walter? Joe has little to no influence with the Bengals.

Sounds like there are a lot of benefits to having Joe Walter's son going to Cov Cath

It was me. I confess.
