It's actually coming out it is more of power play between the 6 or 7 different ownership stakes. Most the minority owners didn't like him. This guy is selling to make money period. He already sold the hockey team didn't he ? I read today he tried to sell the team a couple years back to someone from LA but it fell through. He is using this to create interest to sell a team he has wanted to get rid of.

September 9, 201412 yr I'm not sure where I will stand on this a week from now, but my initial reaction is that the Hawks being so mediocre has more to do with lack of season ticket sales than white/black issues. They haven't made it past the second round of the playoffs in my lifetime. Put a better product out there and you'll attract more customers. Maybe that analysis is too simplistic, but that's how I feel about it for the time being.
