I'll ask one more time for clarity sakes: If he was selling out every game and the audience in the lower arena was all black and he saw no reason to believe that would not stay the case WOULD he be looking to get less blacks in the arena?

The lack of father and sons coming to games comment can be perceived as racist. The Kiss Cam being too black can be perceived as racist. The cheerleaders being too black even though over half the cheerleaders are white can be perceived as racist. When Tommy Hilfiger said he didn't want young blacks wearing his clothes his primary goal was to make money and it's still a racist statement.

Same for Braves games when they were winning. It's almost like people are saying that Atlantans are just racist when it comes to basketball games but not football. No offense at all meant to Atlanta because I think it's a great city and I've always enjoyed myself there, but if someone is hardcore racist, I don't really think Atlanta is one of the first cities that they'd want to live in to begin with.

September 9, 201412 yr How many believe this was actually racist? I think much of what he said was actually 'racist' on a lot of levels. I also think that it's unclear if he is really a 'racist' person per se. I think it'd be more accurate to say that he's maybe greedy and race came into the mix, but from the tone of his email, I don't think he's someone who necessarily dislikes black people or anything like that. He seems like someone who'd be saying "how can we push all these old white Jewish people out and get more Asians into our games" if that's what he thought would make him more money. The team is locked in a power struggle. There were 19 different interviews conducted. 24,000+ documents were reviewed. This is 1 incident that came out of all of that and appears to be the only thing that's came out of it. This incident was clearly lacking in taste and had racially offensive language. All that said, given the totality of the circumstances presented in this last paragraph, forgive me if I'm not ready to say that he has a Klan hood hanging in his closet at home based on one e-mail that came up out of 19 interviews and 24,000 documents being reviewed.
