Not what I asked...

I'm scared of old people. I'm gonna be one someday, and I can't imagine how I'll be in 30 years.

Not what I asked...

Ok. No.

Ok. No.

And there you have it. It isn't a matter of changing from a pizza joint to a taco place because taco spots are attracting customers. It is about fundamentally deciding to alienate your current base in any way because the people with more money aren't willing to spend their cash due to your customer base trending too black. Once you pick the racists for their money, you join the pack.

Honest question. How comfortable do you think the black customer base is going to feel after seeing this email? If the sale drags out for a few months, are the paying black customers going to return at their regular rate?

The ownership group better hope the folks from Seattle come save their back side...

So if the Hawks leave Atlanta, whose fault is it, the blacks who don't spend money, show up late, and don't buy merchandise?

I don't see them leaving Atlanta.

Hope they don't either, I hate this get up and leave crap.

I don't see them leaving Atlanta.

Rumor floating is the power play is meant to move them to Seattle.

I've heard that also but I don't see it happening. Not from Atlanta. Maybe from a smaller market but I'd be shocked if they were allowed to move the team to Seattle.

The NBA can't have a city as large — and let's be honest, as black — as Atlanta without a team.

No, the whites who are "scared" of black people and don't come to the games...

It is the same as changing from a pizza joint to a taco place. Your pizza customers may feel alienated. They can still come to the restaurant but it's not going to be the same as it was before and it may be more crowded.

The reason for the change of the restaurant and the reason for the desired change of the Hawks crowd is exactly the same.
