August 14, 201412 yr Louisville > Lexington. It's easier for me to go from UL to St Matthews during rush-hour than it is to drive from downtown Lex to Fayette Mall at the same time. I would NEVER live in Lexington. Too many people and not enough infrastructure.

August 15, 201412 yr My opinion is formed based on my numerous experiences there. It's incredibly dirty (around the campus area), and has never been a pleasant experience. With that being said, the area of the church and the Reception Hall for my brother's wedding were very nice. And for the record, I'm not a fan of the city of Lexington either. Well it's just cherries that you chose to live in Cincinnati then isn't it?

August 15, 201412 yr Never crossed my mind that UKMF's dislike for Louisville had anything to do with sports. He's had my back on several occasions when dealing with the UK whackos... Now others on this board, I 100% believe their dislike for the city of Louisville has everything to do with UofL. I like the city just not what happens on that smelly campus.

Louisville is good enough for the PGA, The Kentucky Derby, one of, if not the biggest firework shows in the world, a state of the art brand new arena, top notch college(not just for sports), what is there not to like for anyone from any part of the state?
