Multiple ordering at Subway/Chipotle

Featured Replies

There's a fine line. 2 or 3 orders is doable is you have someone that knows what they're doing. If you have 10 orders, it's inconsiderate.

Especially if they are doing it during lunch when people get maybe an hour for lunch. You spend 30 minutes in line then you're rushing the rest of your lunch.

It's exactly like if you wrapped heaven in a warm tortilla and you could have it by exchanging six or seven American dollars.

This.

Is there a difference between Chipotle and Hot Head's burritos?

Be considerate like a normal person and call/fax/email/order online before hand. Pretty simple.

How is it any different than a bus load of people that show up at Mcdonalds? an order is an order, doesnt matter if one person is making it or 10 individual people.

I'd rather have an efficient person ordering 10 meals than 10 clowns ordering their own. Problem we have is the expectation that since only 1 person is in front of us, we should get served right away. If all 10 showed up, we would expect a wait.

It sucks being low on the totem pole at your place of work.

Would it have made you feel better if those 5 people were in line in front of you? She saved gas and time for several folks. That being said, my guess is that she couldn't read her own writing and took longer than she should have for each order. Whether it is a person that orders for many, or just that idiot that can't decide what they want and takes forever to order is what bugs me.

It would be way faster if there were five more people in line than one idiot ordering for all of them. Chipotle moves the line pretty quickly because of their little assembly-line. One person ordering a bunch backs up the flow.

About two weeks ago I pull in Wendy's got get something at lunch time and I hear the guy in front of me state that he had 25 separate orders from the hospital. Attendant told him to bring the order in. What kind of knucklehead tries to get 25 orders at the drive-thru during lunch rush?

Judging from the picture, I would say a laying off Chipotle and fast food in general might be a good idea.

First off, you went to the wrong Chipotle. Should have gone to Highland Heights, not Newport. Second, if you don't call/fax/internet order ahead, aren't you supposed to stand in line with the rest of us and wait your turn?

That's what she did....

Must've missed that

I do online ordering at every joint I order from. It could be one order for me or everyone in the office , it doesn't matter to me. I don't wait in lines anymore. It amazes me how many people don't order ahead for lunch.

A while back ordered online lunch for the office at Panera. Had to wait in line quite a while to pick it up. Not a good process but don't know if they've since changed it.
