It would have been better to have provided air support for the Iraqi government 6 months ago, when ISIS began slaughtering non-Sunnis, conquering cities that thousands of American troops shed blood liberating, as it began its bloody march through Iraq.

 

Now, after ISIS has filled a large war chest and acquired advanced anti-aircraft missiles, Obama has decided to take a stand by placing the lives of American pilots at a much greater risk than they would have faced had he provided timely support to the Iraqi government.

 

Why now? Do you think the timing of Obama's decision is unrelated to Putin making him look like a fool, his plunging job approval numbers, or the approaching mid-term elections?
