August 7, 201412 yr Russia is just playing with us now, they evidently don't take the US seriously at this point. Not sure what the US response should be, but Sec State Kerry needs to fly to Russia on the way home from Afghanistan and discuss this ASAP. Russia/Putin acting more like a school yard bully than a National Leader.

With that said, I'm not sure how much if anything Putin has to do with this particular incident...article says some student organization laid claim to this. We can put blame on Putin for a lot of things, but not sure how we specifically blame him for this.
August 7, 201412 yr I am more in favor of a surgical strike at their leadership. I know a lot of Russians who all seem to be nice decent people. Also, there are many Russaian women looking for husbands...ok, I don't know where that came from. :eyeonyou: However, their leadership are total tools. And it would seem their process of choosing leaders isn't working any better than ours. :bunny: Ok, wait, what if we Americans and the Russans meet in the middle....we both agree to regime change!

Agreed that it's sad and pathetic, when your stunts, attacks towards someone crosses the line and become racist, that shows the mentality of the person/people. However I do not say Putin is not to blame, he puts the ideas in their heads. The State run media is run by the propaganda machine over there and the citizens hear all of the garbage. Yes, there are some opposition stations and papers, who also have to worry about their lives, but they can't keep up with the State and the propaganda. Putin could stop these sad events, just as he could stop the sad attacks on LGBT teens there now days, they do it as they know they will not get punished. It all just shows a bit of what goes on inside the mind of Putin.

If a political cartoonist depicted Putin in the NY Times as a steroided up freak that looked something like a dufas Bigfoot and was trying to figure out how to screw in a light bulb...would Pres. Obama say something about that? Or even should he?
