You don't have to go back far to see both Trinity taking a lot more lumps than they delivered to these schools (or at least it seemed that way).

 

When I was at Trinity in the late 90s, we played a couple Cincy schools one year and got absolutely HAMMERED. Beatty has definitely taken things to another level.

Lots of tremendous coaches from what I have scanned through. I was and always have been a big Dan Haley fan. He may have already been mentioned I just did not see it.

I never met Dan Haley, but what I have heard from people who either played for or coached with him, he is one of the all time greats. He really set the foundation for Bowling Green Purple football.

Hugely successful and PT prior to going to BG as well

Haley was a good coach, but, IMO, When Cox took over for him, he took PT to another level. Cox's Tilghman teams were scary good and took on all comers. Outside of Mayfield, none of the other area teams wanted any part of them, unless they had to(district teams). Those PT teams played powerhouse programs 4 or 5 times a year, Brentwood Academy, Blythville, Ar, Memphis Melrose, Bellville Altoff, Illinois, Trinity, St X, etc. just to name a few.

Bob Schneider, Dudley Hilton, Phillip Haywood and Garnis Martin are mine. This would be hard to narrow down since there are only 4.

I'm going Glaser, Harp, Beatty and Mueller but I really think we're going to need a bigger mountain.

I can't see how anyone can leave Yeagle off myself. He has what? The second most state titles?
