I think the argument for Coach Haywood being a "definite" over Coach Schneider is a little shakey. Granted, Haywood is still active, but Schneider is still only 31 wins behind Haywood, and they both stand at 3-6 in the state finals.

 

One coach is from a metro area rich in talent at a Private School

 

The other is from a coal mining community with limited talent at a Public School

Yeagle has to be a lock. Surprised he's only slightly been mentioned. I think he was the best coach in this area period.

Honest Question because I didn't know that... if Schneider had the success he did at NCC with not a single kid ever transferring into his program or living outside/moving into Newport that would be am impressive feat and certainly worth mention.

 

Not sure any other coach on the list could make that claim to be honest except maybe some of the real old school guys.

The NCC guys would need to help me out, but there weren't many if any kids playing for NCC that weren't his feeder kids. With that said lets not get too crazy with Bob love. He was not a great coach by any stretch.
