July 23, 201412 yr I still don't understand what makes a city "happy" or "unhappy". Did they survey people and ask "Are you happy?" and all the New Yorkers just said "Frickin Bloomberg!" and that was it?
July 23, 201412 yr And I'll be the first to admit I'm a little unhappy. Nobody on metro government has done anything to get all these Big Blue Nationers out of my city. They graduated from UK, hop across the county line, take our jobs, and all us good Louisvillians are stuck with 'em.

July 23, 201412 yr Either I am different than the people who took the survey, or the survey is flawed. My girlfriend is from NYC, we visit there frequently and I love the place. Louisianna has 5 of the 'happiest' cities I believe. I have spent a lot of time there working and I absolutely hated every city we worked in, a couple of which were on the list of happiest.
July 24, 201412 yr You can make statistics sing any tune you want. Everything with a grain of salt people. That said, 99% of the times that I have gone to Louisville it has either rained or snowed. There's like a precipitation vortex over the city.
